Our district mission is to provide the highest quality, developmentally appropriate program possible, while at the same time responding to individual family needs. We work hard to purposefully create a safe and nurturing learning environment where our classroom practices promote physical, social, emotional and cognitive development in the children we serve. We are respectful of the diversity among our children. Based on our knowledge of child development and learning, we know that each child develops at a unique pace, and is motivated to learn through natural curiosity and interest. Hands-on experiences, including interaction with adults and other children, and the use of play encourages exploration and self-discovery and fosters critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Nuview is home to nationally-recognized preschool centers of excellence, staffed with certificated coaches, to serve as a flagship for other Riverside County agencies seeking to duplicate the highest quality preschool practices. Our program integrates five components:
