I love learning and look forward to an exciting year exploring reading and writing with my students! Language Arts is essential in our everyday life The ways in which we gain and share information is constantly changing. How great is that? Learning and teaching are a couple of my passions, along with my family and baseball!
I grew up in the Midwest and worked at a variety of jobs before finally settling into what everyone always told me to do, teach! I have lived in the area for over 20 years and worked throughout Riverside County. My husband, Jim and I have two boys, Andy and Nick. In 2003, I received my BA from Azusa Pacific University and received my Master of Education from APU in 2006. I started teaching at Mountain Shadows Middle School in 2007 and have fallen in with the middle school routine!
